Growing up in Norwalk, Connecticut was absolutely amazing. I was minutes from Long Island Sound, a train ride away from NYC and exposed to a pretty diverse city and people. In high school, people didn't come to the football games to see the football team, they came to see the Marching Band. I was a proud member of the band freshman through senior year.
I went to Lyndon State College in Vermont where I was exposed to nature. Living there was slow paced and relaxed compared to Connecticut, and I loved it. I look advantage of VT's natural beauty by snowboarding, mountain biking, kayaking, scuba diving, and hiking. I was on the LSC Dance team, where I eventually became fundraiser and then finally president.
In 2007 I moved to Pennsylvania where I met my future husband at Weather Trends International. Little did I know it would start the most random, yet epic path in my life. We started our relationship by going skydiving together and we haven't looked back.
On November 7th, 2012 Dennis and I were blessed with our first child, Shane Martin. He is perfect in every way. Dennis and I are certainly lucky and we obviously have high Crossfit hopes/standards for the little guy!
On March 13th, 2015 Dennis and welcomed our 2nd son, Seth William. Having a toddler and an infant has proved to be challenging at times, but he's a happy and healthy baby and for that we are very grateful.
Currently living in Virginia far, far away from everything and everyone I know, I'm trying to start my life back up. Balancing being a mom, wife, and individual has proven harder than expected. Follow my blog and see what types of adventures await me!
Please don't under estimate the things I am willing to do or achieve!
